KADEX SUPPORTS GALLBLADDER & BILE DUCT CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
In March 2019, my late mother, Glenda Lavery, was diagnosed with late stage Gallbladder Cancer. As tenacious as she was, this was a fight that even she couldn't win. The battle lasted only 8 short months. On October 27, 2019, not only did our family lose our wife/mother/grandmother, but KADEX (our family owned & operated business) also lost a treasured and respected member of its team.
At the beginning of this nightmare, our awareness to Gallbladder Cancer was limited. Our family now realizes the large importance in early detection for Gallbladder Cancer, which is the best possibility for surviving this deadly disease.
February is the month dedicated to bringing awareness to Gallbladder & Bile Duct Cancer. KADEX wants to take part in this great initiative by bringing awareness to everyone we know to increase knowledge and familiarity to this unfamiliar cancer.
